BCBA fieldwork at Key Behavior Services
Key Behavior Services uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to assess and analyze an individual’s behaviors and abilities. Our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) use that information to identify effective strategies to teach the individual new skills and improve behaviors. Does Key Behavior Services provide BCBA supervision?

Paid behavior-technician work can count toward BCBA fieldwork when the activities, supervisor, monthly contacts, observations, and documentation meet BACB requirements. Employment alone does not make every hour count.
- 1. Confirm the supervisor. Verify that the person overseeing your hours is qualified and available for the required contacts and observations.
- 2. Sign the contract first. Put responsibilities, supervision format, and documentation expectations in writing before counting hours.
- 3. Plan unrestricted work. Direct therapy is usually restricted, so arrange assessment, analysis, training, and program-development activities deliberately.
- 4. Reconcile every month. Check totals, percentages, contacts, observations, and the Monthly Verification Form before the month closes.
