How to adjust Ripley settings for concentrated supervised fieldwork?

Amy M.

Hi everyone, I’m only collecting Concentrated Supervised Fieldwork. Is there a way to change Ripley’s settings to match that? I’m clinic-based and there’s always a BCBA on-site for supervision, and the BACB’s open-ended tracking requirements are honestly stressing me out.

    Hi there,
Go to the month — edit month details — toggle to “concentrated fieldwork.”

That will update the sidebar criteria. You can edit this per month, and it will default to the last used setting. I’m doing mixed, so I have some months that were concentrated, and some non-concentrated. Ripley will automatically weight your concentrated hours into your total, therefore the total sum of hours (weighted and unweighted) should equal 2000 regardless.

Yes, there is a way to change your fieldwork type. I had to change mine earlier this week to concentrated, and the tracker automatically set a field type for you. Go to the month overview that you need to change it for. Then at the bottom of the page, you click on edit month details to change the fieldwork type as needed. Hope this helps!

Yes! I just figured this out a few weeks ago. If you click the month you want to change to concentrated, scroll to the bottom, and you should see a button labeled ‘Edit Month Details’. There, you can move it to concentrated, and it will make sure you have the 6 contacts and 10% supervision needed to complete it. It will also automatically calculate the multiplier for that month and add it to your total hours. You can see this by going to Total Hour Summary and scrolling to the bottom of the page.

    Hope this helps!

Ripley does have a concentrated option—I used it while tracking a mix of concentrated and non-concentrated hours. When you set up a month, it should ask whether you’re tracking concentrated or regular supervised fieldwork. If you don’t see that, open the month, scroll to the bottom, choose Edit Month Details, and switch it to Concentrated.

When you go to generate you monthly form hit edit settings and it will allow you to switch to concentrated.
