how to change system to run from the 10th to the 10th for “months” for total tallies, etc

I started on the 10th of month 1 and want my monthly tallies to go from the 10th to the next 10th. Right now, they are going from the 1st to the next 1st, so they are really unhelpful. How do I set it to begin each “month” on the 10th (and NOT on the 1st)?
